    Hello,

I am doing a research project on the RAC Airfield located at Mount Pleasant, PEI, from 1943 to 1945.
So far I have found out that most of the firing was done in air shooting at drogues hauled behind another airplane. Apparently there were also targets installed on the coastal dunes of Malpeque Bay called the Sandhills. Is there a any information existing about these land-based targets ? their locations ? Their design? etc…
The daily reports of activity at the Airfield are a trove of information about the activities, flying airplanes, accidents, number of rounds fired in air firing, etc…but missing the information about the targets.
Also, where can I find more info about these drogues, design, pictures of drogues, etc.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

There actually is an error on your monument. Second from the bottom you have James Thomson. It should be John Thomson my uncle.
